Masorti In Europe
The roots of Masorti Judaism are in Europe. Masorti first emerged as an identifiable ideological stream in Germany at the end of the 19th century. The first training institution to educate rabbis in the spirit of Masorti Judaism (known then as the positive historical approach) was in Breslau, Germany, which is now the city of Wroclaw in Poland.
Our Learning Partnership
Our learning partnership, “Strategies for voluntary work in Europe”, has brought together Jewish and inter-religious organizations from the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Hungary, the Netherlands, Portugal and Czech Republic to exchange ideas about subjects of common interest and to develop new perspectives in their work.
Results of Our Learning Partnership
The evaluation process during the partnership was very important to all participating organisations. There were several levels of evaluation, each leading to adjustments of the project work on both local and European levels.
