Speed Networking and Mitzvah Day
We adapted our follow-on projects with inspiration from Kehillat Aviv in Valencia, setting up a series of activities to improve and enhance the volunteer culture at SAMS.
Marom
The newly implemented activity of Masorti Germany is our Marom, i.e. activities for young adults and students, based on the Best Practice example of Marom Hungary.
Exchange Project
Objectives:
Recipe Booklet
For our follow-on project, we were inspired by one of the items presented by our Lisbon partner – recipes – and decided to make a booklet with our own recipes.
Chanukah CAFE - Community & Family Education
Our new activity was a Chanukah CAFE, based on the T''u b'Shvat CAFE run by St Albans Masorti Synagogue. It was designed for all ages, focusing on different aspects of the festival, and was organized by volunteers from the organization.
Mitzvah Day & Jewish Budapest
For its first follow-on project, Marom Hungary joined the network of Mitzvah Day projects inspired by St Albans Masorti Synagogue (UK).
Questionnaire: What do our members want?
We took over the idea from Valencia to find out from our members what they wanted from our organization. We decided to do this in Almere by using a questionnaire.
One to Six
We adapted New North London Synagogue’s Seven project. Since we are small, we turned it into a One to Six activity, in which one of us taught the others something.
