Financial Independence
We consider our Best Practice project is having become independent financially.
All work besides that done by the rabbi was and is handled by volunteers.
Our budget comes mainly from membership fees, fees for the High Holy Days and fees from all sorts of activities, such as dinners, the annual seder, conferences and movies events. The treasurer works hard to bring in the fees and we do allow people to make several donations. Everything is prepared by volunteers.
Recently some funds come from Bar and Bat Mitzvah classes, but even with that volunteers participate and help the rabbi.
