For over 20 years, Adath Shalom has created a vibrant community centre and organization, with about 350 families, which promotes encounters among its members while integrating the values of Masorti Judaism.

Our Talmud Torah, which hosts over one hundred children, aims to develop in children a positive mindset towards a Jewish identity and to initiate the children, in respect and tolerance, into the joys of Jewish tradition. A new Marom (young adult) team was formed this year to raise awareness of young French Jews.

Courses for adults are varied and numerous. All our courses help our members to better themselves and to participate more fully in our activities throughout the year.

In the framework of the Grundtvig project, we promote encounters and exchanges between European Masorti organizations. In 2009 the focus was on Great Britain, with a weekend in Paris with the community of New London Synagogue in November and a student youth exchange student Paris and London during the school holidays.

In this wave of major projects, Adath Shalom featured speakers at two major conferences in 2010. The first was with the economist Jacques Attali on the topic, 'Capitalism can become moral?', while the second focused on 'The brain in all its forms'.

Finally, in 2010 Adath Shalom again 'blew out the candles' in celebration of 10 years in its current locality.
